Frank Miller is an American writer and artist best known for his film noir-style comic book stories. His most famous work is probably still The Dark Knight Returns, a dark tale of an older Batman set in the near future - a heavy influence on Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film. He is also highly regarded for his work on Daredevil, Elektra and Sin City - the later recently faithfully adapted in a film co directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller himself.
