Dave McKean is an illustrator, photographer, comic book artist, filmmaker and musician. His work incorporates drawing, painting, photography, collage, found objects, digital art and sculpture. He is best known in the comic world for his collaborations with Neil Gaiman, his painted covers on the Sandman series, the Batman graphic novel, Arkham Asylum, with writer Grant Morrison, and his magnus opus Cages. More recently McKean has collaborated with Neil Gaiman on two children's picture books, and the film Mirrormask. www.mckean-art.co.uk
